CYPRESS, California–November 10, 2015–Unitech, a global provider of data collection technology for both small and large businesses, will release a game changing inventory and asset-tracking tablet on December 14th, 2015. Unitech is offering pre-order discounts until launch.

Unitech’s 37-key rugged Android tablet with integrated barcode scanner is available for demo and pre-order with any of Unitech’s valued distribution partners. 30-day demo requests can also be processed on the Unitech website.

The TB120 tablet is a simple way to gather the data every business needs to run effectively. The 37-key programmable keyboard frees up valuable screen real estate and allows for gloved typing. A physical keyboard creates extra space to interact with key stock or pricing information on the responsive 7” touch screen. Every TB120 comes equipped with aggressive scanning technology. Users will be able to read both standard linear barcodes and the newest 2D codes, with their choice of 1D or 2D scanner. A no scanner option is also available, as well as a TB120 with integrated MSR reader for loyalty cards or ID verification.

The TB120 brings all-in-one functionality to the workforce. “Consumer-grade tablets simply don’t cut it when it comes to data collection,” said Unitech America Sales Manager Brian Silence. “Practical features like keyboards help bring tablet computing to businesses in a way that makes sense.” With a built-in keyboard and barcode scanner, the TB120 packages multiple tools into one sleek device.

The scratchproof 7” touch screen and rugged enclosure helps make the TB120 a true work tablet. The Gorilla Glass III screen is tough enough to withstand repeated falls of up to 4-feet, making the TB120 strong enough for any warehouse, stockroom or delivery truck. Like all Unitech data collection technology, the TB120 resists water, moisture and dust and can withstand extensive vibrations and tumbles. The sheer toughness of the TB120 protects an investment in Android and maintains a low cost of ownership. Without the hassle of broken screens and constant repairs, businesses everywhere can reduce downtime and increase productivity levels.

    Pricing and Availability
The TB120 is available for preorder today through Unitech’s authorized resellers, starting at $1330 (MSRP).
