Our newest rugged handheld computer, the PA520, is due for a Fall release.

The PA520 will feature the same slim, PDA look as some of its predecessors. It fits comfortably in a shirt pocket, making it easy and comfortable to carry around.  Customers looking for an affordable rugged unit running Windows 6.5 will love the PA520’s competitive price point.

With laser and 2D imager scanner options and a 3.5-inch touch display available in either VGA or QVGA resolutions, the PA520 is a great fit for applications inside the four walls such as inventory and asset tracking. Rugged and built to last, the PA520 outperforms any consumer-grade device. Durable construction makes for a lasting investment, whereas consumer-grade devices are designed to be replaced every 1-2 years.

The PA520 will also be released with a healthcare version. The PA520 MCA will offer healthcare workers an affordable mobile device specifically designed for bedside point-of-care. The aggressive 2D imager and RFID reader captures data from patient wristbands, labels, samples, and medications. As with all Unitech healthcare solutions, the PA520 MCA has tough antimicrobial and disinfectant-ready housing that withstands repeated drops, tumbles, spills, cleaning agents, and germs.

For more detailed spec info please visit the PA520 product page. To request more information, pre-order a unit, or request a demo, simply use the contact information at the bottom of the page.

Stay tuned for Unitech America’s official PA520 launch. You’ll find out how the PA520 stacks up against competitors and how it fits within the existing Unitech line of affordable mobility. The PA520 and PA520 MCA will be showcased at this year’s Vartech and unSUMMIT shows in New Orleans along with other recently launched products such as our new FC series of hands-free scanners and our long-range HT682 built just for the warehouse.
